DWTECH (ABN 81 119 039 446) respects your privacy. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to respond to you and provide our services, such as:
- your name, business name, phone number and email address
- the details you include in an enquiry, email or phone call
- information about your computers, network and software that we need to support them
- billing details needed to invoice you
How we collect it
Mostly directly from you — through the contact form on this website, by email, by phone, or while we're working on your systems. This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- to reply to your enquiry and arrange support
- to deliver, monitor and maintain the IT services you engage us for
- to send quotes and invoices and keep business records
- to contact you about your systems, such as renewals or issues we detect
We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we won't send you marketing you haven't asked for.
Who we share it with
We only share information where it's needed to provide our services — for example with our website and email host, remote support software providers, hardware and software suppliers when ordering on your behalf, and our accountant. Some of these providers may store data outside Australia. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Remote support sessions
When you run our Quick Support tool, we can see and control your screen only while the session is open and you've shared the session code with us. You can end the session at any time by closing the program.
Keeping it secure
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including password-protected systems, encrypted connections and limited access. We keep information only as long as we need it for business or legal reasons, then securely delete it.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, at any time. Just get in touch using the details below.
Questions or complaints
If you have a question or concern about how we've handled your information, please contact us first and we'll do our best to resolve it promptly.
If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
